Dr. Ena Valikov was born in Odessa, Russia, immigrating to Israel in 1973 and then to the United States at 16 years of age. She graduated from the University of California at Davis with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 1985 and a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine in 1990. She worked as an emergency and critical care veterinarian for seven years. She loved the intensity and the challenge of emergency medicine, but missed forming long-term relationships with her patients and clients. She took over Bellflower Veterinary Hospital in 1999 and has a particular interest in internal medicine. She enjoys helping clients raise healthy and well-behaved pets, seeing the family enjoy their pet throughout adulthood and into the silver senior years. She lives in Long Beach and owns two cats and a Rottweiler named Danny. In her spare time she likes traveling, listening to music, biking and rollerblading.
